Zattoo is a software program that allows you to watch TV on your computer. With Zattoo, you can watch your favourite TV shows while still being able to do your computer tasks such as surfing the internet, doing online banking, conducting research and the like. This program does not require any additional hardware component. All you need is a fast broadband connection and a current operating system such as Windows XP or Vista, Mac OS X or Linux. Zattoo is a peer-to-peer application which means data is not streamed from one central server but flows from one user to the next. Its content includes BBC, ABC, Al Jazeera, and a number of European channels. It is currently available in Denmark, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
